Local honey makes a meaningful holiday gift — and this December we are hosting a small honey and craft sale to help Seattle shoppers find something truly local. Join us for conversation, coffee, and a chance to do some genuinely local Christmas shopping. Everything here was made in Seattle.
Honey, Jewelry, and Soap from Seattle
We are selling Seattle Urban Honey alongside handmade jewelry and locally crafted soap. The jewelry is made by me; the soap is made by my friend and hive host Clara, who crafts it in her home near Northgate. The honey comes from our bees — hives kept across Seattle neighborhoods, with the bees right here in the city.
In particular, raw Seattle honey is one of those gifts that cannot be replicated by a big box store. Every jar has a specific flavor profile based on the flowers the bees worked that season — linden, blackberry, maple, knotweed. It is a product of this specific place, this specific year, made by bees within a few miles of where you live.
Find Seattle Urban Honey at the Farmers Market
Additionally, Seattle Urban Honey is available year-round at the University District Farmers Market every Saturday morning. If you are looking for local honey in Seattle as a holiday gift, this is the most direct way to meet us, taste before you buy, and bring home something made a few miles from where you live. Find us at 50th and University Way NE. You can also buy our honey online and we will ship it directly from Seattle.
